A simple idea which could save many youtubers from losing monetisation.Once you upload a video, is is possible to make edits in the youtube editor, music, color correction, etc - There should be an option similar to annotation, but for audio. Thus allowing the uploader to manually beep out any nasty swears, that would normally demonetise their video. This addtional audio layer of beeps, can be switched on/off by the users, similar to how annotations worked. This idea would allow parents to watch their favourite videos in the presence of their children, allow people to choose if they wish to hear profanity and not miss out, and allow monetisation to continue, as the option is up to the user. via /r/youtube
