I'm sure we've all heard about that pedo story going around and sadly I don't think the guy who reported on the pedos had the best intentions, it seemed like he was just looking for the next thing to bring down youtube with his terrible "solution" Honestly I think kids shouldn't be allowed to have monetized videos unless you're 16+ that's the legal working age in US which is where youtube is based seems like it would make sense not to allow videos staring children to make money for that reason alone. You're just opening up children to abuse by their parents/internet at that point. Granted i know that age changes based on circumstances from state to state but i feel 16 is average across country. via /r/youtube
