In my day, you could search for a video and actually get the video as the first result, instead of vloggers' opinions of said videos with misleading thumbnails and variations of the same title.

Also, ads were just little boxes that scrolled up from the bottom sometimes. Didn't have to bother with subscriptions for what used to be free. via /r/youtube
