I recently got a used LG G6, it was listed as being one of the first phones to support YouTube HDR when it first rolled out to phones, supporting both HDR10 and Dolby formats.I wanted to see what this would look like so I went to the YouTube app and searched for HDR videos.... but none of them had an "HDR" option in the quality settings. Most of the articles about how to enable it are from 2017, so I wanted to ask if this was changed somehow in later versions of the YouTube app, or of this means I need to look into why my phone isn't supporting it if it is still supposed to say HDR there. via /r/youtube

Does the Android app no longer show "HDR" in quality settings?
