I might be making an assumption about how blocking works on YouTube, but still want to reach out.I've come across a channel I want to block. Not due to any poor behavior of the content creator, I just mainly have YouTube going while I work on other things, and I don't like the narrator's voice. I listen rather than watch 80% of the time while at work, so that's a big deal to me.I rarely block anything on YouTube. In several years, I may have used it a couple times before, favoring options like "I'm not interested", so I'm not well versed in blocking on this platform. So I googled the how-to as it didn't seem immediately obvious. The most recent method I saw that was still doable was going to the channel's About page, clicking the flag, and choosing block. So that's exactly what I did. Worked, for about a couple hours, then their videos popped up again in the auto-play feed, and now less than 24 hours later, they're even popping up on my recommended feed again. Is there an option I'm failing to do? Or is this an issue out of my control? via /r/youtube
