I thought I’d make a quick post about this because I haven’t seen anyone taking about it.Just an example, search for ‘Apex Legends’ and sort by upload date. The first video that comes up is one month old.I’m not saying this is a bad thing, but it’s been like 2.5 days since the shooting and it’s still disabled. But here’s what I find interesting:Searching by upload date is obviously the best way to find content that is not allowed — because no one has been able to remove it yet. This is one of the features that pedophiles exploit to find raw footage of under aged girls (such as webcam videos, morning routines, etc).YouTube is willing to disable this feature to prevent people from finding the shooter’s footage, but they don’t consider this option when alerted about the pedophilia epidemic on their platform.Just some food for thought. via /r/youtube
