The reason I love this photo so much is this a pup that spent the first 9 months in a cage. When faced with an open field, he hid in a bush. When he was first shown to me at the shelter, he didn’t know how to walk. And here he is, sleeping in an open yard under an Apple tree. Peaceful and loved.
